Winner winner chicken dinner. Got some on my wrists right now and every now and then get a waft of the scent of back in the day barbers. Fresh and Manly 💪

I got both the innocuous and the #9. They are definitely very interesting and unique scents.
Innocuous – A bit of an odd scent, not quite sure it works as a cologne. It smells like someone is blowing black pepper through a fan in a cardboard factory. Smells more like a workplace than a cologne. But maybe that’s the appeal? I can see how it can come across masculine in that way, but for me it misses the mark.
#9 – The better of the two. It actually pairs extremely well with their signature beard batter scent. They are pretty different but with the cinnamon note they share they do blend together quite nicely. The only negative for me is that there’s some kind of baby-powder quality to it that hits me sometimes.
For both, the staying power is surprisingly low so they may need a re-application in the middle of the day if you want the scent to carry with you. They go on well and there isn’t much in the way of the scents changing over time like typical colognes. They get all the benefits of a solid cologne being that you can apply it discreetly if desired, easily adjust the amount for the desired strength, easily targeting your pulse points etc.
Overall they are fine solid colognes and if you like the respective scents, worth a try. Though I removed a star because there was *quite* a discrepancy between the amount of product in the tins. The #9 was nice and full, but the innocuous was much less, looked almost half as much as the #9 tin.
